Maria Duran has been a practicing Occupational Therapist since 2002.
She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2008.
Mrs. Duran has been very fortunate to have worked in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings, as well as Nursing Home Facilities and private practices.
Her clinical interests are general Occupational Therapy, Pre and Post Surgical Orthopedic diagnosis of the Upper Extremity, Pre and Post Cancer Rehabilitation, Neurological Diagnosis, Lymphedema of various body parts, the use of IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) and Kinesio Taping.
Maria Duran believes that each client should be looked at and treated with a holistic approach to be able to have a complete understanding of each client’s needs.
